Kapal Selam is Indonesian for "Submarine". The name embodies the spirit of exploration and adventure in the underwater realm. This passion for the deep sea is what drives the founders and divers of Kapal Selam Dive Club. Founded by several divers who spent their weekends in Tulamben, the club has grown to include not only Bali or Indonesia divers but also divers from all over the world. We are a multi-national (Indonesia, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, USA, Norway, Singapore, Ireland, Phillippines, Malaysia, P. R. China, Canada, Japan and Brunei) dive club, and we pride ourselves on having divers from all corners of the world - united by the love for diving.

Perhaps the only aspect of Bali more colourful and diverse than her culture is the underwater splendour that surrounds her shores. Whether an experienced diver, a new comer to the Ocean Realm, or completely uninitiated, Bali offers world class diving and snorkeling experiences for you. Few diving destinations offer such a unique blend of semi remote boutique accommodation, surroundings of natural beauty, unique culture and spectacular underwater diversity.

Topping the wish list of many divers are large pelagic creatures including sharks, whales, and big fishes. Charismatic Marine Megafauna (CMM), such as Manta Rays and Mola mola are widely distributed throughout the world’s oceans. Bali offers some of the most reliable opportunities to experience the thrill of diving with CMM. An intimate understanding of local conditions and environmental cues is critical to maximize chances of quality interactions.
